No Added MSG Seafood Base

An all-purpose paste base made from lobster, shrimp, crab and clams. RC Seafood Base contains no added monosodium glutamate. Prepared, this base has the pleasant flavor and aroma characteristic of a seafood stock. This product is also available with monosodium glutamate (MSG).

Product Usage

Prepare an instant seafood stock by dissolving product in water. A soup base makes an excellent foundation for creating or seasoning stocks and sauces. Use prepared stock to create home-style chowders, soups and bisques, to enhance pasta dishes or to season stuffings. Contact RC Fine Foods for recipe ideas or suggested uses.

Packaging

Product is packaged in resealable HDPE jars or reclosable pails. Each container has a lot code and "packed on" date.

Product Storage

Refrigerate for best shelf life and flavor. May be frozen.

May be frozen for longer shelf life.

Cooked seafood (lobster meat, shrimp, crab meat and clams), salt, sugar, autolyzed yeast extract, potato flour, onion powder, dextrose, ethyl alcohol, water, clam flavor (contains clam broth, salt, natural flavor), spices, garlic powder, dehydrated shrimp, natural lobster flavor, maltodextrin, natural flavor, disodium inosinate, disodium guanylate, crab extract, and xanthan gum.
