Corn Chowder
RC Corn Chowder Mix is a pre-measured combination of vegetables, milk and seasonings. It yields a creamy, flavorful chowder studded with corn and other vegetables when reconstituted with water and simmered. This dry product has a long shelf life and requires only minimal storage space.
Product Usage
To prepare, add the product to water and simmer for about 40 minutes. A double boiler is recommended to reduce the stirring required. For richer chowder, milk may be substituted for some of the water.
This product is an excellent base for a variety of creamy soups. Seafood chowders may be prepared by adding chopped clams, crab, shrimp or fish. Cooked chicken or turkey may be added for a cream soup.
