New England Clam Chowder
RC New England Clam Chowder Mix is a pre-measured combination of vegetables, milk and seasonings. It yields a "white" chowder with a creamy, flavorful broth. This dry product has a long shelf life and requires only minimal storage space.
Product Usage
To prepare, add the product to water and mix in one #5 can of chopped clams with the juice. A carton of frozen clams (½ gallon) may be substituted. The soup should simmer for about 50 minutes. Use a double boiler to reduce the stirring required. For even richer chowder, milk may be substituted for some of the water, or a pint of cream may be added to finish the soup.
