Pesto Sauce
A deep green paste made with basil, cheeses, garlic, pine nuts and extra virgin olive oil. This product is comparable to a thick made from scratch basil pesto, and is ready to use once the product has thawed.
Product Usage
Pesto may be served as a sauce over pasta or other foods. Pesto may be brushed over grilled chicken or other meats. It can also be used to season vegetables, spreads, flavored butters, breads or salads. RC Pesto Sauce may be stored either refrigerated or frozen. Thaw under refrigeration.
Packaging
RC Pesto Sauce is ready-to-use. It may be extended with additional oil or chopped parsley. A serving of pasta requires about 3 tablespoons of pesto. Product is packaged in re-sealable jars or pails with lot number and "packed on" date.
