Instant Pastry Cream Mix

 

A light powder that prepares easily with milk to yield a rich, vanilla flavored pastry cream. When fully thickened, the cream cuts cleanly, holds between layers, and will not weep. The prepared cream is freeze-thaw stable.

Product Usage

RC Instant Pastry Cream Mix may be piped or spread to prepare a variety of desserts. Among its many uses are éclairs, cream puffs, cannolis, Napoleons, pies, tarts, pastries and cake filling. RC Pastry Cream may be enhanced with RC Extracts such as Banana, Hazelnut, White Chocolate or Apricot to create flavored creams. Contact RC Fine Foods or check our website for recipes.

To prepare, the contents are whipped with 1 quart of whole milk for 6 minutes. Product is then ready to be piped or spread. For best results, pipe product within 1 hour of preparation. Keep prepared cream refrigerated.
