Béarnaise is a classic French egg emulsion sauce made with a reduction of vinegar, wine, tarragon and shallots. RC Béarnaise Sauce Mix is a light yellow powder with dried tarragon leaves, egg yolks and other seasonings, that yields a rich and flavorful Béarnaise Sauce when prepared per the package instructions. RC Béarnaise Sauce is easy to prepare and holds up well on a steam table without "breaking".

One package is prepared by heating contents in a double boiler with 1 ½ quarts of water. Only a pot made of stainless steel or other non-reactive material should be used. The sauce is finished with 1 lb. of butter.
Product is packaged in foil laminate bags with lot number and "packed on" date.
