Creme Brulee
Ingredients
3 quarts Half & Half
2 packages No Bake Custard
Instructions
(yields 3 quarts)Prepare |NoBakeCustard| according to package directions and place in oven proof molds. Refrigerate at least 2 hours. Spoon just enough fine granulated sugar (not regular or powdered sugar - this is sometimes called bar sugar) to coat the top of the completely cooled custard. Remove any excess sugar, more is not better in this case because it will take longer to caramelize the sugar with a torch. It is not recommended to caramelize under a broiler or salamander.
