Frozen Mousse Pies

Ingredients

12 oz. Oreo® Cookies
4 Tbsp. melted butter
2 qts. heavy cream
4-6 each Butterfinger® Bars, chopped
1 package Mousses (Unflavored)
4 tsp. Coffee Extract

Instructions

(yields 4 or 5-9 inch pies)

Chop the Oreos in a food processor. Drizzle the melted butter over the crumbs, and mix well. Use approximately three ounces of crumb mixture per pie. Press the crumbs into pie tins and refrigerate for ten minutes. Prepare the Mousses (Unflavored) per the package instructions. When the mousse is almost completely whipped add the Coffee Extract and complete whipping. Fold in the broken Butterfinger bars. Fill the shells an inch or so above the pan and round off. Freeze for two hours before service. To cut the pies let stand at room temperature for 10 minutes. For best results, dip a knife into hot water and dry off on a clean side towel before cutting the pies.

There are endless frozen mousse possibilities with Extracts, Flavors, and Colors. A few of the tried and true combinations are: Mousses (Unflavored) with White Chocolate Flavor and crumbled Nestle® Crunch Bars and 1 package of Mousses (Chocolate) with the addition of 8 oz. of peanut butter and chopped Reeses® Peanut Butter Cups.
