Vodka Sauce

Ingredients

2 tsp. Garlic in Oil
2 tsp. olive oil
1 cup vodka
4-6 fresh basil leaves
1 cup heavy cream
1 quart prepared Spaghetti Sauce Mix
1 oz. grated parmesan

Instructions

(yields 1+ quarts)

Sauté the Garlic in Oil in the olive oil until it starts to brown. Remove the pan from the heat and add the vodka. Carefully return the pan to the heat and allow to ignite. When almost all the alcohol is cooked off, add the basil. When the flames disappear, add the heavy cream and reduce by half. Add the prepared Spaghetti Sauce Mix and mix thoroughly. Finish with grated parmesan cheese.
