Vegetable Pasta
Ingredients
2-3 Tbsp. olive oil
2 tsp. Garlic in Oil
1½ lbs. vegetables of your choice such as carrots, broccoli, peas
1 pint prepared RC FlavorMatch Vegetarian Chicken
1 Tbsp. water
2 Tbsp. cornstarch
¼ cup whole butter (optional)
1 lb. fettuccini, cooked
fresh cracked black pepper to taste
Instructions
(yields 6-8 portions)Sauté the Garlic in Oil. Add the vegetables and heat thoroughly. Add the prepared No Added MSG FlavorMatch® Vegetarian Chicken Flavored Base and bring to a simmer. Combine the water and cornstarch to make a slurry. Slowly add the slurry to the stock and vegetable mixture. Add the butter (optional) and stir to incorporate. Once the stock simmers, add the pasta and heat thoroughly. Using tongs, portion the pasta and top with vegetables. Pour the remaining sauce over the portions and season with cracked black pepper.
