Cream of Garlic Soup

Ingredients

2 tsp. Roasted Garlic Base
1 package Seasoned Cream Soup Base
1 gallon cold water
2 bay leaves
½ tsp. thyme
1 small onion, pureed
2 tsp. olive oil
16 oz. heavy cream
¼ cup Liquid Vegetable Consommé Prep
white pepper to taste

Instructions

(yields 1 gallon)

Heat oil and sauté the onion until just transparent. Add thyme, bay leaf, water and Seasoned Cream Soup Mix & No Added MSG Roasted Garlic Base. Thoroughly mix until all ingredients are blended, then slowly bring to a simmer and cook for 3-5 minutes. Add cream, pepper and Liquid Vegetable Consommé Prep. Heat until soup reaches 165°F and serve.
