French Onion Soup

Ingredients

1 bay leaf
½ tsp. thyme
1 qt. prepared RC FlavorMatch Vegetarian Beef Flavored Base
2 Tbsp. olive oil
6 medium onions, peeled and sliced thin
2 Tbsp. dry sherry
pepper to taste

Instructions

(yields approximately 2 quarts)

Heat oil and slowly caramelize onions. Deglaze with the prepared No Added MSG FlavorMatch® Vegetarian Beef Flavored Base. Add the thyme and bay leaf. Simmer for 8-10 minutes. Add the sherry and season with pepper.
